About IEP Curriculum & consulting
IEP Curriculum & Consulting was founded by Michael Soria, an industry-leading expert on special education curriculum and professional development. Michael is well-equipped to support special education administrators as they optimize classrooms and processes, based on his experiences as a special education teacher, a curriculum specialist, a classroom consultant, and a father to a son with special needs.
Michael has learned the ins and outs of special education from the ground up. Because he started in the classroom as a special education teacher, he’s worked firsthand with many special education curriculums, seen how they serve students, and provided feedback to make the classroom experience more engaging, meaningful and manageable.
